Hello, and welcome back to the VV Eekly Update!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My cat, Bowser, has been pretty sick this past week. He’s had his second stroke in two months, and he’s just now starting to recover. We’ve always called him an old man, and now he officially is an old man!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, that means that I didn’t have as much time to spend on working on Vyn and Verdan<\/em> or on writing the VV Eekly Update. Never fear though; Shrubb is still here! I still have a short post to share with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, I want to tell you about more enemies – spiders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spiders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You likely know the drill by now. Every insect enemy in the game comes in three sizes, and spiders are no exception!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t mind the art… I haven’t gotten around to actually doing any art for any of the spiders. Please enjoy the placeholder art!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, there’s spinning spiders. These large guys lock onto you from afar, approach steadily, and then SPIN<\/strong> at you! As per usual for large enemies, they’re not too fast, but they do take an intimidating amount of space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, there’s shooting spiders. These spiders jump around the map randomly, and then shoot outwards. Hopefully, with a well-placed stun, it shouldn’t be too difficult to lock them in place and avoid chasing them around the room!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, there’s the smallest enemies, the jumping spiders. These little menaces jump chaotically at you! Don’t get hit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
