Welcome to this very exciting Eekly Update – we have a Steam page!! Woohoo!
Thank you to all of my friends who wishlisted on Steam and subscribed on Discord or Substack. Feel free to stay subscribed if you are personally interested in this process, but my real goal is having more Steam wishlists! More wishlists is key to success leading up to the launch process. Please send the Steam page to anyone who may be interested in Vyn and Verdan!
In celebration – and because making a Steam page took a lot of time – this post is mostly a look into that process of making the Steam page. Also, Steam required that I create and submit a lot of art… so now I have things to show you!
Capsule and Library Art
Steam uses a lot of art specific to your game when advertising and showing your game. That’s not going to be a surprise to anyone, but what was surprising to me was the sheer quantity of art needed.

This is just a small selection of the art I created. They obviously follow a small selection of themes, since I’ve only created some of the Real Art necessary for the game. However, I wanted to get the Steam page out as soon as possible! Eventually, as is standard practice, I’ll likely hire a Real Artist to do a more dramatic header capsule.

Today didn’t have much game content, so, to tide you over until next week, here’s a sneak preview of what I’ve been working on!

As always, feel free to steam your way to the Discord and leave a page of comments!
